Hi, I’m Grace Sonsalla! I’m a UW-Madison alumni, former registered nurse, and married to my high school sweetheart. My husband, Andrew, and I are both from the small town of Arcadia, Wisconsin, right between La Crosse and Eau Claire. I have called Madison home for eight years now.

A personal home-buying experience

My real estate clients know that I will always be a resource for them, and will work to get their questions answered before they think of them. When Andrew and I went through the home-buying process, the market was really competitive. We know how nerve-wracking that can be. I aim to provide the confidence and education needed through the process so you can focus on the fun aspects of buying and selling a home. You don’t need to be an expert in real estate to buy or sell your home because I will be there to cover all of the details. I also love the creativity that goes into searching for a home. I am able to paint a picture of a space, and point out details or small changes that can be made that will make a huge difference in your future home.

A career change

I became a nurse after graduating from UW-Madison, but always had an interest in real estate, especially in portfolios and rental properties. I felt like my career was missing the opportunity for creativity, so I decided to change course, and I haven’t looked back since! I met Dominic through a mutual friend, and he helped us buy our first home in Cross Plains. We found a home in a competitive market that has a yard we love, and space to invest in. Our home-buying experience and working with Dominic led me to join The 608 Team!

When I’m not working with my real estate clients, Andrew and I do a lot of hiking (one of our favorite spots is Governor Dodge State Park) and kayaking. We like to snowboard in the winter, play basketball and cards together and go on bike rides. We also love to renovate furniture, take on DIY projects in our home, and drive through various Madison neighborhoods!

Fun Fact:

People are usually surprised to know I have a motorcycle license! Andrew and I ride around on backroads in the summer. Our favorite place to go is Merrimac – we get ice cream and ride the ferry over.
