Shopping local in Madison
We love shopping locally, especially at Madison boutiques. There are so many wonderful small, locally owned businesses in our area. We always use and recommend local vendors to our 608 family as much as possible – for anything you can think of when it comes to buying, selling, and owning your home! As small, local business owners ourselves, we understand the importance of supporting those in your community. Plus, you can’t beat the quality and customer service!
I (Ellie) love shopping at boutique stores – from clothing to home goods to natural skincare products, Madison truly has it all. The running joke is that I have to live within a mile of Hilldale Shopping Center, but it’s actually true. Hilldale has an incredible atmosphere – inside and outside of its stores. And while it is home to some great non-local companies, it’s a powerhouse for supporting local (especially women-owned businesses!).
There are several other boutique shopping areas that really make Madison feel like a small town that has everything you could possibly need. Some other favorite areas of ours include Monroe Street, downtown Middleton, State Street, Fitchburg, Atwood, Willie Street, and so many more!
Today we are sharing five of our favorite boutique shops in the Madison area. These boutiques carry everything from women’s clothing and accessories to trendy, high-end furniture and home goods.
